Introduction

The Dy. Director of School Education control District Educational Administration. The District has no educational blocks at block level, So, C.D. blocks are co-terminus. The BEO looks after block educational administration at the circle / block level. There is a B.R.C at every block and 6 C.R.C at cluster level. The Principal and Headmasters control school administration and management at schools of various levels. School Management Committee and School Management and Development Committee with the help of PRI members are looks after planning and administration of School level respectively. Management information system in the district is being used for planning and management of school education on various schemes.

Activities

  • Vidya Scheme: This Vidya Scheme under Chief Minister’s Flagship Programme (CMFP) is basically meant to encourage the beneficiary of girl child students who are/were studying in Class (Six) standard to increase their presence in schools and reduce their dropout rates at the Elementary and Secondary stages of education after enrolled their names in the various schools/institutes run by the State Govt. and Govt. Aided Schools in Arunachal Pradesh.
  • Health & Hygiene (Sanitary Napkins): This scheme is basically meant for Girls Hygiene Scheme (Sanitary Napkins) under Chief Minister Flagship Programme (CMFP) to be provided incentive towards the beneficiaries of girl child student studying in classes vi to xii only which institutes/schools are fully run by the State Govt. and Govt. Aided Schools in Arunachal Pradesh. The main aim and objective are to be retained continue them in the schools during occurrence of their menstrual period.
  •  Hostel Stipend: Stipend means monthly allowance payable in lieu of ration only to the bonafied students of Arunachal Pradesh under this scheme. Their stipend is deposited in their aadhar seeded saving bank account. No cash payment is made.
  • Mukhya Mantri Shiksha Kosh Scheme: To meet up the shortage of subject Teachers in secondary level in some schools, a total of 5 (five) teachers have been appointed for 5 (five) months at a fixed pay scale of Rs.25,000/- per month. 04 (Four) teachers have been engaged at GHSS, Jeko and 01 teachers at GSS, Wakro.
  • Chief Minister’s Adhunik Shiksha Yojana (Smart Classroom) CMASY: Smart classroom teaching under Chief Minister’s Adhunik Shiksha Yojana (Smart classroom) is improving creative thinking in learning process among the students. It makes learning enjoyable. It helps teachers to face new challenges to developed students abilities and performance in the class.
  • PM Poshan (Erstwhile MDM): PM Poshan programme is the world’s largest school feeding programme. The primary objective of this scheme is to provide hot cooked meal to children of primary and upper primary school students as well as improving nutritional status of children, encouraging poor children & belonging to disadvantaged sections to attend school more regularly.
